This training has helped strengthen my knowledge and skills as an effective communicator and active listener.

Effective Stress Management in the Workplace

Stress in the workplace is a common issue that can affect employees' mental health, well-being, and productivity. When managed properly, however, stress can be a motivating factor that drives individuals to perform at their best. On the other hand, unmanaged stress can lead to burnout, absenteeism, and a decline in work performance. Effective stress management is therefore essential in maintaining a healthy, productive work environment.

I have learned that there are so many different ways to resolve a conflict.

How do you motivate someone who has checked out when it comes to doing their job? You also have no idea what the problem is and they will not open up.

The content reminded me about the importance of reflecting on what I am preparing to write and reinforced key basics that I strive to follow whenever I write.

There is huge value in leaning into questions and active listening when working with people to resolve conflict.

I've learned about the natural responses to stress, how identifying them can help manage them and what to do when feeling stressed 

Coaching and peer coaching requires identifying areas of improvement, guiding individuals to work on themselves and to keep a positive mindset on areas to work on.

Both positive and constructive feedback are beneficial in the work place. Creating an environment that fosters openness and trust is vital. 

I enjoyed  the training but some of the test questions were worded a little tricky.
